What is eTeams? eTeams is a growth movement; we meet in small teams (8-12 people) which are intimate and accountable with the objective to be equipped and empowered to engage our world. This is accomplished by:

1. Equipping God's people for the works of service by introducing tools for the vision.

2. Empowering to be united, knowledgeable and mature with training on how to implement the tools.
3. Engaging in a fulfilling ministry and attaining the fullness of Christ by utilizing the tools.

Who is eTeams for? eTeams is for EVERYONE connecting to the family of OAC. To have a unified focus, all OAC members are asked to participate in this growth movement. Every team includes a Host, a Facilitator, and an Apprentice. Guests are welcomed to participate in the equip classes (every 2nd Sunday of the month, at the café, 9am to 10am) to learn about the OAC difference.

What are the phases?

  • Presentation Phase, 2 Parts (equip teams) – Introduction to OAC
Part 1: History, Vision, Mission, Purpose, Priorities, eTeams Movement
Part 2: Membership Covenant, Doctrine (faith & message), Government, Financial Accountability
  • Preparation Phase, multiple small groups (empower teams) – Ministry Training and Leadership Development. This phase seeks to discern your spiritual gifts and develop your talents through training and hands-on serving.
  • Participation Phase, ongoing (engage teams) – Being passionately involved in a ministry by utilizing your spiritual gift. Ministry is defined as a service to the local church body (internal community) or the world (external community); with the intent of advancing Christ. Every eTeam will have the mission to complete service projects.

When do eTeams meet? eTeams meet in 10 week gatherings (home or campus).

Week 1 - Orientation to the group.
Week 2-9 - Empowering discussions.
Week 10 - Group celebration.

There are 2 week breaks before the start of each group for Team Connect. Team Connect is a corporate gathering, on the campus. All the teams share testimonials and service project experiences. At Team Connect, we introduce all the new teams for the next session.

What is the Scriptural mandate?  Ephesians 4:12-13 “…to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
